Junior Cycle Wellbeing

Student wellbeing is present when students realise their abilities, take care of their physical wellbeing, can cope with the normal stresses of life, and have a sense of purpose and belonging to a wider community —- Wellbeing Guidelines

Wellbeing is a theme that permeates the school from whole school environment to the subject taught.

The new approach to Wellbeing is to provide students with 400 hours of wellbeing over their three years in Junior Cycle. These 400 hours incorporate:

  1. SPHE
  2. CSPE
  3. PE
  4. Additional Areas of Learning
